Rowing Race
Invitation to race in the Rowing Boat Challenge 2011, at the Eastbourne RNLI Regatta, Saturday 27th August
Wanted brave and fearless people to race their rowing boat and have fun together. Come and build team spirit with 4 of your friends, work colleagues or club members for just £30 per person minimum sponsorship. Rowing boat racing will be held in the north harbour at Sovereign Harbour.
- Maximum 32 Teams (5 persons per team) participating
- Entry Fee - £150 (minimum) sponsorship per team
- All sponsorship or fundraising effort for the Lifeboats
- All races to take place on Saturday.
We have had a lot of enquires for the event already. It’s important we hear from you soon, if you wish to be part of this exciting, colourful and great fun event. Please complete the enclosed Application Form (keep a copy for your own records) and send together with your signed declaration form (to guarantee that the sum of at least £150.00 per team will be raised) as soon as possible to the address on the form.
There are many prizes including the winner’s trophy and second and third place trophies, also there is a prize for the crew who raise the most sponsorship handed in on the day.
Please remember the organisers have insisted that all teams refrain from drinking alcohol until after the racing has finished.
